Counselling, Psychotherapy, Ethics and the Law – 13th September 2013
Counselling, psychotherapy, ethics and the law brings together two very different and often conflicting worlds. Yet counsellors and psychotherapists are subject to a wide range of ethical and legal dilemmas.
This most recent addition to our programme for 2013 seeks to explore these conflicting worlds in a small, interactive group environment.
The workshop leader, Peter Jenkins, is an acknowledged expert and published author on the subject. Formerly a member of the BACP Professional Conduct Committee, he is currently a member of the UKCP Ethics Committee. He is a Senior Lecturer in Counselling at The University of Manchester and an experienced trainer.
This is a valuable opportunity for practitioners, service managers and supervisors to learn about this important subject in the relaxed environment of the Sapphire suite at Cheshire Conferences and Events at Edgeley Park Stadium, Stockport.
The sessions will consist of a series of scenarios that will be investigated and discussed within the group.
